Syed Fairul Hizam (“Syed Fairul”) serves as the Head of Northern Region at MAS Awana Services Sdn Bhd.
Syed Fairul is responsible for overseeing all regional operations, business development, and client relationship management within the Northern Region of Malaysia, covering states such as Penang, Kedah, Perlis, and Perak. In this role, he ensures that MAS Awana’s aviation and non-aviation catering services are delivered efficiently while maintaining the company’s high standards for food safety, halal compliance, quality assurance, and operational excellence.
He brings extensive experience in regional management, operational leadership, and stakeholder engagement, having successfully led large-scale catering operations and business development initiatives in the Northern Region. Under his leadership, MAS Awana has expanded its client base in airline catering and institutional food services, strengthened local partnerships, and improved operational efficiency across multiple sites.
Prior to his current role, Syed Fairul held senior positions in operations and regional management within MAS Awana, where he was instrumental in implementing process improvements, workforce training programs, and customer service initiatives that enhanced service delivery and operational standards.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has participated in various professional development programs focused on operations management, food safety, and leadership in the hospitality and catering sector.
As part of the management team of MAS Awana Services Sdn Bhd, Syed Fairul contributes to the company’s strategic growth and regional expansion initiatives, ensuring that the Northern Region consistently meets corporate objectives, client expectations, and industry benchmarks.
