MAS Awana was formerly known as MAS Catering (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. It was incorporated on 2nd January 1996 and commenced its operations on 1st July 1998 to cater for in-flight meals for Malaysia Airlines flights departing from Kuching, Sarawak. In 2012, MAS Awana expanded its services to cater for in-flight meals for MASwings, Malaysia Airlines and foreign carriers at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The setting up of a Central Production Unit 1 (CPU1) at Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi Business Park, Sepang on 1st April 2013 was a major milestone to further provide food and beverages for Malaysia Airlines’ Golden Lounges at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
We are duly certified by Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Makanan Selamat Tanggungjawab Industri (MeSTI) and certified HALAL by Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).
With more than 26 years of experience, MAS Awana Services Sdn. Bhd., had specialized in operating and delivering high-quality in-flight catering services, premium airlines lounges, by specializing in cooked chilled & catering services for other airlines, premium airline lounges, healthcare and hospital catering, corporate, institutional and industrial catering and semi-process & finish products, encompassing production of a wide range of food and beverages products, including hot meal, cook chilled and frozen meal.
