Dato’ Baharom Yatim

Dato’ Baharom Mohd Yatim (“Dato’ Baharom”) serves as the Head of Business Development & General Counsel of MAS Awana Services Sdn Bhd.

Dato’ Baharom is responsible for leading the company’s business development initiatives and legal affairs, supporting the expansion of MAS Awana’s aviation and non-aviation catering services. In his role, he oversees strategic partnerships, commercial opportunities and contractual matters while providing legal guidance on corporate and operational issues.

He brings with him over 30 years of experience in the aviation, travel and hospitality industries, having held various senior roles in sales, marketing and operations across Malaysia and international markets. His experience spans business development, strategic planning and aviation-related services.

Prior to joining MAS Awana, Dato’ Baharom held leadership roles in several organisations within the travel and aviation sectors, including Sri Sutra Travel, Pacific World Travel and CSPI Securite, where he was involved in developing regional markets and strengthening industry partnerships.

Dato’ Baharom holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Malaya. As a member of the management team of MAS Awana Services Sdn Bhd, he contributes to the company’s growth strategy while overseeing its legal and contractual governance.
