Head, Sarawak Region

Martha Miga currently serves as the Head of Sarawak Region at MasAwana Services Sdn. Bhd. Prior to this appointment, she was the Head of Kuching Station, a role she assumed in April 2019. In this capacity, she was responsible for overseeing the overall planning, administration, and operational control of MasAwana’s Kuching operations, ensuring that products and services consistently met the company’s quality standards, corporate objectives, and policies.

Martha began her career with the company in July 1998, when it was known as MAS Catering (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd., serving as an Admin and Billing Assistant. In this role, she ensured invoices were accurately prepared in accordance with approved pricing and billing procedures, and that customers were billed promptly.

Over the years, Martha steadily expanded her responsibilities and experience within the organization. In 2005, she supported the General Manager on administrative matters, including preparing materials for Board of Directors meetings, recording departmental meetings, and coordinating with customers on behalf of the General Manager.

Between January and July 2013, Martha was appointed Acting Project Coordinator in Kota Kinabalu, where she played a key role in ensuring that company products and services met the required quality standards and complied with regulatory requirements, including health regulations, halal certification, and safety standards.

In March 2014, she was promoted to Executive Secretary, where she managed coordination across departments under the General Manager. Her responsibilities included delegating operational matters to relevant stations or departments, ensuring deadlines were met, and facilitating effective communication across teams. She was also directly involved in internal audit processes and in verifying menu quotations for airline and other clients.

With more than two decades of experience in the company, Martha brings extensive institutional knowledge, operational insight, and leadership to her current role as Head of Sarawak Region, where she continues to support the company’s operational excellence and regional growth.
