Mohd Nadziruddin

Mohd Nadziruddin Mohd Basri (“Mohd Nadziruddin”) is the Chairman of the Board of MAS Awana Services Sdn Bhd.

Mohd Nadziruddin was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, Aviation Services of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) in January 2023. He brings over 20 years of experience in airline operations, investment, and finance across the aviation and investment sectors.

Prior to his current role, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of AeroDarat Services Sdn Bhd, the ground handling arm of Malaysia Aviation Group, since September 2015, where he played a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic growth initiatives within the aviation services segment.

He joined Malaysia Airlines in late 2013 as Chief Financial Officer, and was subsequently appointed Chief Restructuring Officer in 2014 to lead the airline’s Restructuring Management Office during its corporate restructuring. Earlier in his career with Malaysia Airlines, he held several senior positions including General Manager, Project Management and Assurance (2001–2004) and Senior General Manager, Airport Operations (2005–2007).

Mohd Nadziruddin also previously served in leadership roles at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, including Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, Finance, and was later appointed Chief Executive Officer of Destination Resorts and Hotels Sdn Bhd, a hospitality investment company under Khazanah.

He began his career with Arthur Andersen (later Ernst & Young) before moving into aviation and investment roles. Mohd Nadziruddin holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
