Martha Miga has served as the Head of Kuching Station at MAS Awana Services Sdn. Bhd. since April 2019, where she oversees the comprehensive planning, administration, and control of station operations. Her leadership ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality products and services in alignment with corporate objectives and policies.
Martha’s career with the company began in July 1998 by coordinating administration and financial at MAS Catering (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. In this role, she was responsible for accurately preparing invoices based on operational checklists and approved pricing structures, demonstrating a keen attention to detail and commitment to precision. Her strong performance in this capacity laid the foundation for her growth in operational management.
By 2005, Martha had taken on greater responsibilities, providing vital support to the General Manager through the coordination of administrative functions. She played a key role in preparing materials for Board meetings, documenting departmental meetings, and managing customer interactions, gaining valuable experience in operational oversight and high-level decision making.
In January 2013, Martha transitioned into the role of Acting Project Coordinator in Kota Kinabalu, where she ensured that the company’s products and services complied with all relevant regulatory requirements, including health, halal, and safety standards. Her success in maintaining these rigorous standards demonstrated her ability to manage compliance and operational excellence across multiple areas.
In March 2014, Martha was promoted to Executive Secretary, where she managed departmental activities, delegated tasks to ensure efficient operations, and played an essential role in internal audits. She was also responsible for verifying menu quotations for airline clients and other key partners, underscoring her strong operational and financial acumen.
With over two decades of experience, Martha Miga’s operational expertise and dedication to excellence have made her a key figure in maintaining and enhancing quality standards at MAS Awana’s Kuching Station. Her leadership continues to be instrumental in the station’s success.
