MAS Awana proudly celebrates an extraordinary achievement at Culinaire Malaysia 2025, one of the region’s most prestigious culinary competitions. This year, our talented team of 15 chefs brought home an impressive 16 Medals and 5 Awards, placing MAS Awana firmly among the leaders in culinary excellence.
The highlight of this year’s competition was a historic achievement by Chef Ahmad Afzai, who not only secured a place in the Top 3 World Ranking Chef but was also awarded the highly coveted title of Most Outstanding Chef across all categories. This distinguished honor presented only once every two years to the best-performing chef of the entire competition underscores Chef Afzai’s exceptional artistry, creativity, and dedication to his craft. His achievement is a milestone for MAS Awana, placing our culinary talent on the global stage.
Equally remarkable, every single MAS Awana chef returned with a medal. None left empty-handed, a 100% success rate that reflects the depth of skill, discipline, and teamwork across the team.
