Fazura Azhar brings over 9 years of extensive experience in the airline catering industry with MAS Awana Services Sdn. Bhd., complemented by her foundational career in financial services. She began her professional journey at Ambank Group, where she worked from 2008 to 2011 in the Liquidity Risk Management Department. During this time, she played a key role in developing and enhancing the bank’s Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk Management Frameworks, ensuring effective risk management according to international standards.
Her academic background, holding a Bachelor of Sciences in Math, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics (MORSE) from the University of Warwick, UK, has been instrumental in shaping her analytical and problem-solving capabilities. This foundation has empowered her to apply quantitative analysis, data-driven decision-making, and strategic planning in both the financial and airline catering sectors. In her current role as Acting Head of Human Capital, Puan Fazura has been instrumental in establishing a structured and dynamic HC department that supports MAS Awana’s organizational growth. She has successfully streamlined HR operations, strengthened workforce capabilities, and led key initiatives that align human capital strategies with the company’s business objectives.
