DIRECTOR
Marzuki started his career with Sarawak Shell Berhad in 1983 and left as a Senior Accountant in 1993. During his attachment with Sarawak Shell, among the positions he has held include Head, Group and Corporate Accounts, and Senior Drilling Project Accountant. His working experience include designing and implementing the Group & Corporate Financial and Accounting Information System, Drilling Budgeting and Costing Management System, and Drilling Work Program Information System. With Shell, Marzuki has garnered a strong experience in the financial running of a world class multinational which he readily imparted into his future ventures.
After leaving the Oil & Gas industry, he founded Evergreen Revenue Sdn Bhd (ERSB) in 1997 and in 1998, ERSB entered into a joint venture with Malaysia Airlines forming MAS Catering (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd and eventually undergone a transformation into MAS Awana Sdn Bhd to this day, which has developed a reputation as leading player in the airlines inflight food services, and industrial & institutional food services industries. His business acumen, sound technical knowledge of the food service industry and sheer entrepreneurship, Marzuki has been the main strategist in the transformation of Mas Awana which now has central production units (CPU) located in KLIA, Johor Bahru, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu.
With his 25 year of experience in industrial & institutional food services industry, Marzuki has developed and transformed Mas Awana into a company with the competitive edge and competencies in the establishment and management of networks of CPUs (Central Production Units). These networks of CPUs have allowed Mas Awana to leverage and position itself with the competitive edge in the fastest growing segment of food services industries.
Under his stewardship, MAS Awana has won several awards and has been associated with international F&B brands such as Harrods, Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Coffee Bean Gloria Jeans and et cetera.
