Danya is a seasoned IT leader with over 30 years of experience across diverse industries, specializing in digital transformation, process optimization, and IT governance. Currently serving as the Head of IT at MAS Awana Services Sdn Bhd, Danya leads digital initiatives to align technology with organizational goals. In a previous role as Head of IT at Altel Holdings, Danya drove operational efficiency by consolidating Altel Communications and MYTV IT Operations into shared services, while also providing consultation to the Al Bukhary group of companies.
At AeroDarat, Danya managed IT operations for ground handling services, collaborating with Malaysia Aviation Group to enhance service agreements. Earlier roles include delivering web and mobile solutions at AppReka, leading technical solutions at CJP Engineering, and managing IT transformation projects at Maybank, such as transitioning to the Microsoft Collaboration Suite.
Danya’s technical expertise spans Senior Engineer roles at DiGi Telecommunications, managing EMV smart card implementations at Allied Solutions, and developing shipping management software at Qiva. Beginning their career at MHS Aviation Berhad, Danya supported aircraft logistics and accounting systems. A certified PIKOM PLC member and an alumnus of the National Computing Center, UK, Danya is dedicated to implementing IT strategies that enhance business performance.
