Leong Soon Kong was appointed as the Finance Director (Aviation Services) for Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) in January 2023 and currently oversees the financial performance of Aviation Services entities covering cargo operations, ground handling services, training and engineering services. Prior to this, he was the Chief Financial Officer of AeroDarat Services (a wholly owned subsidiary of MAG) from September 2015 until December 2022.
Leong has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Before joining MAG, he was the Senior Vice President of Khazanah Nasional Berhad.
Leong obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Australia in 1999 and has been a Charted Accountant of CPA Australia and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 2004.
