GROUND HANDLING LICENCE

The Malaysia Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) requires anyone who wishes to provide ground handling services in Malaysia to obtain the Ground Handling License (GHL) which is essential for various ground handling activities. Obtaining the GHL ensures that providers comply with regulatory standards, promoting safety and efficiency in airport operations.

GROUND HANDLING LICENCE

The ground handler license contains the standards, requirements and procedures pertaining to the provision of ground handling as certified by Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM). The standards and requirements are based mainly on standards and recommended practices (SARPs) stipulated in International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Doc 10121 Manual on Ground Handling. It was also published by the Chief Executive Officer under section 24O of the Civil Aviation Act 1969 [Act 3] and came into operation on 10 April 2020.

MALAYSIAN SOCIETY FOR QUALITY IN HEALTH (MSQH)

MSQH, or the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health, is an organization that aims to promote quality and safety standards in healthcare services in Malaysia. It focuses on enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery through accreditation, training, and education initiatives. With the setting up of benchmarks for the hospital business, it aims to improve the services, ensure patient safety and satisfaction while fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement in the healthcare sector.

JOIN COMMISSION INTERNATIONAL (JCI)

The Joint Commission International (JCI) is an organization that accredits healthcare organizations worldwide, focusing on enhancing patient safety and quality of care. JCI standards are recognized globally and provide a framework for healthcare facilities to improve their services and operational efficiency. Accreditation by JCI to the relevant hospitals and our compliance to those standards as the service provider to the hospitals demonstrate our commitment to quality and safety, fostering trust among patients and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with international healthcare standards.

HALAL

The HALAL certificate, issued by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), encompasses two main categories: products and services. This certification ensures that food items, food premises, and various services adhere to Islamic dietary laws. By obtaining this certification, businesses demonstrate commitment to meeting halal standards, which is essential for Muslim consumers seeking assurance that the products purchase are compliant with customer’s beliefs.

MAKANAN SELAMAT TANGGUNGJAWAB INDUSTRI (MeSTI)

Makanan Selamat Tanggungjawab Industri (MeSTI) certification, administered by the Ministry of Health (MOH), is crucial for food business owners in Malaysia, especially SMEs. This certification guarantees the safety and quality of food products, helping to build trust and confidence among consumers. By complying with MeSTI standards, businesses showcase their dedication to food safety and responsible practices, contributing to the overall integrity of the food industry.

HAZARD ANALYSIS CRITICAL CONTROL POINT (HACCP)

The HACCP system is designed to identify and manage hazards throughout the production supply chain, ensuring food safety as certified by the Ministry of Health (MOH). It aligns with the standards set by the Codex Alimentarius Commission, promoting fair trade and high-quality food production.
