The ground handler license contains the standards, requirements and procedures pertaining to the provision of ground handling as certified by Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM). The standards and requirements are based mainly on standards and recommended practices (SARPs) stipulated in International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Doc 10121 Manual on Ground Handling. It was also published by the Chief Executive Officer under section 24O of the Civil Aviation Act 1969 [Act 3] and came into operation on 10 April 2020.
